Dr. Kennedy is the best teacher. He not only cares for music and is passionate about it, but he loves his students and truly cares about them. Everyday we enter his class and he has a new inspirational quote on the board. From his silly jokes to his stretch and dance breaks during playing, everything makes his class wonderful. I am always excited to go to his class. He always makes it clear that we can talk to him and share our feelings. He shares his own personal stories that we as students are able to resonate with him. He makes us more confident by challenging us as a class, saying we have so much potential to fulfill. We always pull around by the big event for us, Concert Performance Assessment, and are awarded with the highest level, Superior with Distinction. Outside of the classroom, he sends us encouraging messages, pictures of his dogs, and just checks in on us. He is my favorite teacher ever and everyone in my class would agree with that.
