History went from being my least favorite subject to my favorite subject. This year has been awesome because Mr. Calhoun was my teacher he makes History so much better. He also makes every student feel like they belong in his class by taking in account every body's opinion. As well as taking in other peoples opinion he also teach's in a way for where it is actually fun for students to learn (and I hate learning). Another thing I like about Mr. Calhoun is the way he makes his seating chart he keeps you with your freinds but making sure you know who's boss. Also he hardly gets mad at us he just finds ways to correct us when were doing wrong, and its not a demeaning correction but helpful corrections. Another reason I'm nominating him is because he gets to know you and when he sees you outside of class he'll know your name and can start and carry on a conversation with somebody. He has also made me more confident as a person in and outside of school. Those are just a few of many reasons on why I'm nominating Mr. Calhoun for this award.
