Mr. Miller is a teacher that really stands out to me. What makes him awesome is that he comes to class ready to teach every day. He is always up and willing to lecture and actually explain the material instead of just giving us busy work to do. I appreciate that because it shows he really cares about us learning. He also knows when it’s a good time to ask about extracurriculars without interrupting the lesson, which a lot of teachers struggle with. It shows he cares about what students are doing outside of class but still keeps the focus on learning. He stands out from other teachers because he isn’t lazy. You can tell he puts effort into his class and doesn’t just try to get through the day. One thing that makes his class better is that he stays on topic and keeps the class focused. Because of that, it’s easier to follow what we’re learning and not get lost. He’s also easy to engage with in class, which makes it less awkward to ask questions or join discussions. When the teacher is involved and actually teaching, it makes class feel more interesting and productive. Mr. Miller also shows that he cares about his students by taking the time to explain things clearly. If someone doesn’t understand something, he helps break it down so it makes more sense. That makes it easier to feel comfortable asking for help instead of just staying confused. He helps make me a better and more confident student because he pushes us to pay attention and understand the material. Since he explains things well and stays organized with the lesson, it’s easier to keep up and feel confident about the work we’re doing. Inside the classroom, he supports us by actually teaching the material and making sure we understand it. Outside the classroom, he’s someone you could go to if you needed help with the work or had questions. Overall, Mr. Miller stands out because he puts real effort into teaching and staying engaged with the class, and I think the fact that he isn’t lazy like some other teachers should definitely be noticed. Mr Miller is one of the best teachers MHS has.
