When I was in 7th grade, I struggled a lot with math. I was in Ms. Lawlor's math lab and, to be honest, I did not really like doing it. Even though I didn't like it, Ms. Lawlor still helped me when I needed it. This year, in particular, I was struggling with math. It was not a requirement for me to go into math lab, but I still went ahead and did it because she is one of the friendliest and kindest teachers that I have ever met in all my years of schooling. She deserves this award more than anyone in the world.
